The information found on The McEntyre Family Project is a product of family history research that began in 1980 and research that has been graciously enhanced and added to by the family members and fellow researchers listed below.

Susan (McEntyre) Bright	Susan is my niece, the daughter of my half-brother Lowell Laverne McEntyre and Lola Mae Bradley. She has proided information on her Bradley ancestry.
Sue Clark	Sue descends from James Franklin and Zerpha Vivian (Johnson) Howerton. Her great-grandfather was brother to my great-Uncle Edward Howerton. She has provided family information, photos and documents on the Howerton-Scriven and Johnson ancestry.
Beth Cross	Beth's husband is a descendant of James Monroe 'Bud' Clark. She has provided many photos and has done extensive research on Floyd, Roberts, Clark and related lines.
Leon Combs	Leon made my 2004 research trip to Bradleyville, MO a memorable one and a huge success. He made it possible for me to meet for the first time my cousins Willagene (Floyd) Clark, Floyd Roberts and his son Tommy, his mom Susie Combs and others. Leon arranged for me to photograph the gravesite and former homestead of my great-grandparents, Anderson and Elizabeth (Roberts) Floyd and he drove me to several ancestral sites to include the home of William Thomas and Josephine (Alley) Floyd. Leon is the author of two books: Bradleyville Basketball, The Hicks from the Sticks and Bradleyville, My Hometown in which he devoted a chapter to his friend and my great-Grandfather Amey Floyd. Susie (Dennis) Combs*	Susie is the mother of Leon Combs (above). She was a childhood friend of my mother, Claudie (Floyd) McEntyre and Susie's sister Mary, was married to my mother's uncle Hubert Floyd. Susie was very sweet and kind to allow me to come into her home in 2004 to talk with her about our family and ancestors. Susie descends from Charles F. and Bessie (Brake) Dennis.
Sharon (Williams) Corcoran	Sharon is a descendant of William and Frances (Edgeton) Williams. She has researched these and related lines extensively. Sharon has provided photos and has made numerous trips to various historical societies, libraries and courthouses to obtain copies of obituaries, death, birth and marriage records.
Karen (Hoard) Cummins	Karen is a descendant of Ebenezer and Sarah (Skinner) Mudge. She has graciously shared her personal collection of family and headstone photos in addition to details of her family's recorded history. Karen is also a descendant of the Kingsbury family.
Cynthia Davis	Cynthia descends from James Wesley and Laura E. (Bird) Roberts. She has provided family history pedigree sheets detailing her ancestors information.
Todd Davis	Todd is a descendant of William E. and Mary (McCormick) Davis. He has provided information on the Davis-McCormick, Cobain and Bowinkelman families.
Charles Kenneth Durnin*	My great-Uncle Ken was husband to Cuma Ann Floyd, daughter of my great-grandparents Amey and Emily (Clark) Floyd. Uncle Ken provided many photos and information on births, deaths and marriages for Floyd, Roberts, Clark, Clem and related lines.

Karen Edgerton	Karen's husband Phil is related to the Edgerton family from North Carolina. She has graciously offered to review her hard copy Edgerton materials and will provide any information to help our Edgerton family researchers.
Ryan Edgeton	Ryan is a descendant of George and Martha Jane (Johnson) Edgeton and has provided family photos as well as information on his ancestral lines.
Linda Esiline	My cousin Linda and her mother Lavern are descendants of Andrew Jackson and Susanah Elizabeth (Stamper) Smith. They have researched extensively on our Smith, Blair, Whitaker and Stamper lines. In 2004 during my research trip to Missouri, they took time from their families and work to drive me to local cemeteries so I could photograph gravesites of ancestors. We spent many hours in Linda's home comparing research notes, viewing old family photos and sharing stories of our ancestors.
Carol (Lindblom) Fejfar	Carol is a long-time researcher who has worked extensively on the Mudge, Edgeton, Sayles, Young, Hill and Debaugh ancestry and is currently working to document her Revolutionary War heritage. She has graciously shared valuable family information and photos. Carol is a descendant of Amasa and Cynthia (Mitchell) Mudge.
Alta (Blair) Floyd*	Cousin Alta is a descendant of my Blair-Clark and Smith-Stamper ancestors.. In 1982 Alta had possession of the family Bible belonging to her grandparents (my great-grandparents), Andrew Jackson and Susanah Elizabeth (Stamper) Smith. She hand copied for me all of the Bible entries, family information and notes written by Andrew Jackson Smith. Over the course of several years Alta wrote letters and made phone calls to my mother to provide me with valuable family information on our Smith, Stamper and Blair ancestors.
Rex and Mary (Smith) Floyd*	My grandparents saved obituaries, funeral cards, old photographs, letters and handwritten family information that documented births, marriages and deaths. My grandmother also recorded many pages of valuable family information. My grandfather descends from Anderson and Elizabeth (Roberts) Floyd and my grandmother descends from Andrew Jackson and Susanah Elizabeth (Stamper) Smith.
Phil Floyd	Phil is a cousin and direct descendant of John Calvin Floyd, son of Anderson and Elizabeth (Roberts) Floyd. He has provided information on John Calvin's ancestors and descendants.
Jerry Gideon*	Jerry was the historian for the Forsyth Public Library, Forsyth, MO. He was very helpful to me mailing photos, newspaper articles and family research data.
Linda Gusa	Linda's husband is the nephew of Mertie Ellen Patten and is a descendant of James C. and Alida Elmina (Loske) Patten. Linda has provided numerous photos and her research on the Patten, Loske, Duval and related families.
Aunt Marguerite (Rice) Himmel and Cousin Marvin Himmel	Aunt Marguerite and Cousin Marvin have been very helpful identifying family members in old photos and sharing stories and information on the Rice, McEntyre, Scriven, Himmel and related family lines. Marguerite and Marvin are descendants of Christopher Phillip and Elizabeth (Trounce) Rice.
Gloria Kay Vandiver Inman	Excellent research on ancestors of my 2nd great-Grandfather, Francis Marion Clark/ston, photos and documents. Kay and Elton Bingham have developed two extensive research websites, a must see for all Clark/ston family Bonds of Union and the Clarkston Tree at Ancestry.Com Kay is the author of Bonds of Union.
Sandra Johnson	Sandra is a researcher of many years and has worked extensively on her Billings and Clark ancestry to include families of Walden and Edgerton/Edgeton. She has provided numerous leads and information to help further our research efforts. Sandra is a descendant of Benjamin Clark and Keziah (Yarrington) Gore.
Dorothea Ann (Schuldt) Larson	Dorothea is my husband's cousin. She descends from Carl Johann Henrich Schuldt and Bertha Pieper. Dorothea has provided photos, documents and family information on Schuldt and related lines.
Donald James McEntyre	My nephew Don descends from my half-brother Richard Arlen McEntyre and Shirley (Barrett) McEntyre and is the grandson of Laverne James and Mertie Ellen (Patten) McEntyre. He has made numerous trips to cemeteries to photograph headstones and to gather burial information from cemetery office personnel. He has contacted relatives and library historians to further the McEntyre-Patten-Scriven-Sayles and Barrett-Wilcox ancestry and has provided numerous family photos.
Laverne James* and Claudie Mae (Floyd) McEntyre*	My parents inspired me 30 years ago to begin the search for information on my ancestors. In the years that followed my mother made phone calls and wrote letters to both her relatives and my father's in order to gather for me as much family information as was known by our relatives. My father descends from James Marion and Della Maude (Scriven) McEntyre. My mother is a descendant of Rexie Russell and Mary Ann (Smith) Floyd.
Shirley (Barrett) McEntyre	Shirley is my fabulous sister-in-law and mother of Don McEntyre. She is the daughter of Andrew Derrick and Cecil May (Wilcox) Barrett. She has provided family information and photos on the McEntyre-Patten and Barrett-Wilcox families.
Donna McKeown	Photos and family information on Roberts, Floyd, Clark and related lines.
Sharon (Doty) Mittelstedt	Sharon is my husband's cousin. She has researched and written extensively on the Thompson, Schuldt, Von Schuldt, Baach and related families.
Lisa Monaghan	Lisa descends from Mary Jane Sayles, daughter of my 2nd great-grandfather and his wife Sylvester and Emily (Edgeton) Sayles. Lisa has provided numerous pages of family information on the Sayles-Edgeton and related lines.
Linda Morley	Linda is a direct descendant of Charles Elum and Mary Alice (Patten) Heater. She has shared many photos, documents and family history on the Heater-Patten and related lines as well as several GEDCOM files that have been uploaded to the site.
Nan Mothes	I met Nan through my cousin Tommy Roberts. She was gracious to allow Tommy and me to meet at her place of business. She provided a great deal of information on Floyd, Roberts and Whitaker ancestors and others.
Terry Mudge	Terry descends from Ira and Sena (Crissey) Mudge. Terry has shared his Mudge family genealogy as well as photos and documents. His information led me to discover who is believed to be the identity of his 3rd great-Grandmother, Asenath [Sena] Crissey, daughter of David and Hannah (Wilmot) Chrisse/Crissey.
Nellie (Rice) Nies*	Aunt Nellie helped identify ancestors in photos and has shared family stories and information on the Nies, Rice, McEntyre, Scriven and Sayles families. She provided copies of valuable family documents to include family history written prior to 1957 by my grandmother, Della Maude Scriven. Nellie is a descendant of Christopher Phillip and Elizabeth (Trounce) Rice.
Kris O'Dea	Research and photos on the Edgeton/Edgerton lines. Kris is also an active researcher for the The Edgerton Family Database
Joye and Richard Patten	Joye's husband Richard descends from James Richard and Cecile (Woods) Patten. Joye has shared stories and family information on the Patten-Woods and McEntyre-Patten family lines.
Floyd Roberts*	Floyd descends from James Wesley and Docia Missouri (Alley) Roberts and is the step-son of my great-Grandfather Amey Floyd. I had the pleasure of meeting Floyd in Ava, MO in 2004. He shared many stories of life as a young boy growing up near Brownbranch, MO where he attended Possum Trot School. Floyd provided valuable historical and family information including a note originally penned by his Uncle John Roberts that told the story of the five families who left TN for MO with a sockfull of silver dollars.
Rick Roberts	Rick Roberts is my cousin who descends from James Wesley and Docia Missouri (Alley) Roberts. He has provided numerous photos and family information and has made trips to several cemeteries to photograph ancestor gravesites.
Tommy Roberts	Tommy is the son of Floyd Warren Roberts and Gene Marie Boggs. We realized from my visit with him and his dad in 2004 that we are actually double cousins. Tommy has been wonderful to send photos and family information and recently sent me a copy of a book detailing the William Thomas Floyd, Josephine Alley and Gower families.
Pauline (Johnson) Rodgers*	Pauline is the daughter of Thomas Marion and Ora Myrtle (Floyd) Johnson. Pauline and I emailed and talked on the phone several times. She was very helpful identifying individuals in photos and shared much information about her family and ancestors.
Kelly (Hunger) Meegan	Kelly descends from Charles Arthur and Adelia (Forker) Edgeton. She has researched the Edgeton-Forker lines as well as her Christian-Balfour ancestry. Kelly has provided numerous photos and detailed family pedigree sheets.
Charles R. Smith	Charles is a descendant of Hugh H. Smith and Narcissus Ball. Charles hails from Kentucky where his father and grandfather lived and worked on the family farm. His grandfather Roy F. Smith, is second cousin to my great-grandfather, Andrew Jackson Smith. Charles has shared numerous photos, documents and detailed family history on our Smith and allied families. He is actively working with Smith family members and researchers to help document the family.
Milton Smith	Milton is a descendant of Hiram Smith, son of John H. and Elizabeth (Metcalf) Smith. Hiram is the brother of my great-Grandfather Andrew Jackson Smith. Milton has shared his knowledge of the areas in which he grew up in KY and where our ancestors settled in such townships as Poor Fork and Line Fork and the counties of Harlan and Letcher. He has provided many photos and has graciously approved posting of his original writings. He is also the author of Smith of the Mountains.
Sandy (Watts) Smith	Sandy is my husband's cousin and is a descendant of Clarence Washington and Anna Evelyn (Staires) Sanders. Sandy has shared family photos and research which can be seen on her Family Tree at Ancestry.Com.
E. Harlin Staires	Harlin is my husband's cousin and descends from Clarence Washington and Anna Evelyn (Staires) Sanders. He has done extensive research on the Sanders and Staires families and is the author of The Staires Family.
Tammi Swadley	Tammi's husband, Allen Swadley is grandson of Albert and Golda (Wright) Smith. Tammi has sent numerous family and headstone photos of Allen's ancestors. She has also provided dates, places and names of ancestors that were previously unrecorded.
Tom Walden	Tom has researched his Hanna and Sweeney lines with success and is currently documenting his Walden ancestry to determine if he is a descendant of Nathan Walden. Tom has provided numerous leads and detailed family information to help with ongoing research efforts. He is a descendant of Joseph R. Walden and Sarah D. Hanna.
